DIY Publishing at AWP & an interview w/ Tom Beckett
First, Tom Beckett has posted an email conversation we had recently, and one of the final questions concerns DIY publishing and how it's important, particularly for poetry. Please check that out here. (& thanks again to Tom for his patience and very excellent questions!)
Second, I will be moderating this panel at AWP next weekend in Austin, TX. If you're around, please come say hello!

Five DIY panelists discuss alternatives or supplements to traditional publishing methods,
covering both ideology and the technological basics necessary to publish and distribute
a book, chapbook, magazine, webzine, or blog oneself. Each panelist will describe their
own DIY operation to start the discussion, and then take audience questions.
& lastly, I have an essay on DIY publishing (as well as some poems) coming out in the next issue of the tiny. Look for that later this month!
